ADULT BEGINNER Tennis Fundamentals I

This is an 6 week course designed to teach beginner tennis players a chance to learn the fundamentals of tennis. The fundamentals of tennis include groundstrokes (forehand, backhand), volley, serve, return and backhand slice. Each class will introduce and new technique and review an previously learned one. By the end of the class, everyone should know all of the listed techniques and be able to perform them with a partner.

This Class is designed for players who have had some tennis experience and have learned the basic fundamentals of tennis (forehand, backhand, serve, and volley techniques) and are able to perform them with a partner. This course will further develop those skills and focus on top spin control and ball placement for singles and doubles, as well as learn and improve on the overhead, backhand slice and other intermediate level shots.
