MORE ON WHAT WE DO

Gripspin Tennis as a non profit organization was created to offer high level tennis training to people who may not be able to afford it. The costs related to junior tennis players competing nationally for rankings can add up to a staggering amount. Those who are well off see it as an investment into their future. Tennis offers many perks which include having a better chance of getting into a good college as a student athlete. Even an opportunity to get a scholarship and attend their college of choice at a much lower rate, if not free depending on the scholarship offered. Many parents send their kids to top end academies for the hopes of achieving just that. These academies can range in cost from $40,000-$80,000 per year. This puts those kids who would like to attend and play for a college at a big disadvantage. This advantage is difficult to balance given the access to capital and income that families who are much well off have at their disposal. We would like to try and mitigate that offset as much as possible by offer the 3 most important costs required to compete regularly in tennis for a national ranking. Tournament fees, tennis gear (shoes, cloths, tennis bag and racquets) and tennis lessons (clinics and private lessons).
