Private Tennis Lessons

Package Savings & Commitment: Packages (4, 8, or 12 lessons) offer a $5/lesson discount. To avoid scheduling mix-ups, all lesson dates and times within a package must be agreed upon with your instructor and booked sequentially/locked in prior to your first session.

Refunds on Packages: Full package cancellation requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to the first scheduled lesson and are subject to a deduction for non-refundable merchant processing fees (Stripe fees). Once a package has started, unused lessons are non-refundable unless a replacement coach cannot be provided.

Associate Professionals: Associate Pros have limited availability and schedules that change frequently. For package bookings, instructors may request to adjust lesson times within 24–48 hours of a scheduled session to update their availability (confirmed directly with you).

Elite Professionals: If you require a more open, steady, and fixed recurring schedule without frequent time adjustments, we recommend booking with an Elite Professional.

Why Instructors Reschedule: Instructors may request schedule changes based on court availability, weather conditions, or sudden schedule changes. Instructors will notify clients at least 24 hours prior or as soon as possible. On rare occasions (e.g., emergencies or personal issues), notice may be given up to 1 hour prior to the scheduled lesson.

Scheduling Issues or Concerns: If you experience any issues with an instructor or their scheduling, please contact our main office directly at 650-499-9387.

No refunds will be issued within 7 days of any scheduled lesson, clinic, or event. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to admin@gripspintennis.com with the subject line "Refund Request."

Approved refunds are subject to:

• Non-refundable payment processing fees (Stripe / credit card fees)
• Note: No fees apply for cash or check payments.

24-Hour Notice: Client-requested cancellations or rescheduling must be made in writing (text or email) at least 24 hours in advance and mutually agreed upon by the coach. Cancellations made within the 24-hour window are subject to session forfeiture and non-refundable.

Sessions canceled due to rain, excessive heat (over 92°F), or poor air quality will be rescheduled by your coach for the next mutually available time or appended to the end of your scheduled package block.

Status Updates: Text 650-499-9387 before leaving for your session. Cancellation updates are sent via email or text.

Missed Classes: Makeups are not offered for missed group classes due to illness, travel, or personal reasons. Missed classes will not be refunded or credited.

Minimum Enrollment: A minimum of 6 participants is required. If the minimum is not met, the class may be shortened or canceled.
