Javon has dedicated nearly 20 years to coaching tennis, working with a diverse range of players across all ages and skill levels. His approach is rooted in the biomechanics of the sport, emphasizing proper technique through the disciplined study and repetition of fundamentals.
His career is defined by a deep involvement with the United States Tennis Association (USTA). Javon has served as a Team Captain for the National Zonals Team and as an Early Development Coach Trainer for USTA NorCal. Throughout his tenure, he has successfully mentored junior players through the national tournament circuit, helping them secure placements on NCAA Division teams.

Santiago Montgomery | Associate Tennis Professional
Santiago brings a lifelong passion for the game to the court, having played competitively since the age of three. His journey through the sport is marked by high-level competition across all junior age divisions (12s–18s) and participation in ITF Tournaments throughout the United States.
Santiago’s development was shaped by training in the nation’s most competitive tennis hubs. He served as a full-time academy student at the Casal-Sanchez Tennis Academy in Florida and is a graduate of the Weil Tennis Academy in Southern California. This elite background led to him being recruited to play for Howard University, a Division 1 program. Having trained extensively on both American hard courts and red clay, Santiago possesses a versatile understanding of different surfaces and tactical playing styles.
Over the past three-plus years, Santiago has translated his high-level competitive experience into a successful coaching career. Through his work with Gripspin Tennis and other Bay Area organizations, he has developed a reputation for being excellent with children and effective with players of all skill levels. Whether working with beginners or competitive juniors, Santiago focuses on sharing the modern training habits and discipline he mastered at the collegiate and academy levels.
